About

Welcome to my blog! I am a retired military professional, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cyber and Data Security Technology. After a rewarding 21.5-year career in the military, where I gained extensive experience in project management, strategic planning, and workforce coordination, I have embarked on an exciting new chapter in the field of Information Technology (IT). My background is rooted in Organizational Management, where I hold both a BA/MA and an MBA. However, I am now shifting my focus to IT and cybersecurity. This transition represents a significant change for me, as I have very little prior experience in the IT field. Despite this, I am eager to learn and embrace the challenges that come with it. My career aspirations are to build a strong foundation in cybersecurity through my current studies, which will equip me with the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue a cybersecurity position in the future. I am particularly interested in how cybersecurity intersects with strategic planning and organizational management, areas where I have a strong professional background. This blog is a space where I share my experiences, insights, and learning journey as a novice in IT. I hope it will serve as a valuable resource for others who, like me, are transitioning into this dynamic field. Thank you for joining me on this journey—I look forward to connecting with you!
